Hi Mark - I'm starting it tomorrow! And am really excited - purely because I've become addicted to the PS3 game called Lair...I want my own dragon now!
Mark you were the first author i ever met! Now i can proudly say that the day you signed my book and wrote : 'i hope this inspires you to write magical stories of your own' well it did! I'm 18 now, and have completed and started selling my first book 'The Children of Reckoning.' All i can say is wow! You are one of my writing idols and its amazing that i can thank you for selling me your book The forging of the sword, all those years ago in Ottakers, Cirencester!
Hi Mark, when I get confused or I don't understand or I don't know I try to find answer or I just aks.
It took me some time to realise that it's not shame to ask questions.
I wish you a succesful release in Germany
Hello Mark, first of all thank you very much for your warm welcome. I know your name but so far I didn't read one of your books.
In former times I always waited for German editions of books. Nowadays I prefer to read the original ones.
I'm a little bit confused. I took a look at ,one of my favourite links concerning fantasy books.

Anyway I will take a deeper look at your webpage and read excerpts.
Well, I think the beach house in the seychelles is comming just a bit closer to reality... :) My birthday is comming up and I have told a friend that the only thing I want from him is the Imperial trilogy - the signed edition of cause... Laughs... So unless he has some other fancy idea (which I know he hasn´t) I hope to be getting a few of your books for my birthday... :D
Michelle...
Hello, Michelle and Deborah. Thanks for the welcome.
Yes it was me on Codex last year with Charles and Linda. It was a fun thing to do, but we were somewhat stitched up! A group of childrens' authors against a group from the Institute of Field Archaeologists in a quiz about ancient history ... hmm, let's see ... who will win there? To be fair, though, we did seem to hold our own for much of the quiz. It was just the round on Egypt that killed us. Their Egyptologist, who incidentally had written her Masters thesis on exactly the subject of this round - the process of mummification, was just a bit too quick.
And Michelle - everyone should read my books, whether they like them, or not! :-) Then I will be able to retire to a beach house in the Seychelles.
