Having spent the last twenty years or so describing myself as a horror writer I've found myself drawn to the world of TV SF tie-in work. There's a new collaborative story with Paul Lewis due to appear in a forthcoming Doctor Who book.

Hey Steve. Glad I went yesterday, as I found it very helpful. It was nice meeting yourself, Steve Upham and Chris Teague also. It was great to see so many there, I was shocked at how many showed for the horror workshop. Speak soon,
Dave.

Hi Steve. Should I bring anything with me this coming Satrudays? Such as a sample of work?

That is a shock. I never thought there would be so many in South Wales.

Well, that's great Steve. It's really nice to finally meet someone that writes in the horror genre. Us guys seem very few and far between?!

That would be really great. I'm a bit clueless when it comes down to stuff like that, and it would be nice to have a bit of guide.

Hiya Steve. I see that you'll be attending the Academi next week. Having noticed you're a horror writer, it's pushed me in to going along for the get-together. Do you think it will be of use to?
Cheers
David

Thanks, Steve. I'm definitely going to try and make it. I'm sure it will be an interesting day. I appreciate you getting back to me so quickly. Hope to see you on the day.
Hi Steve, I'm new here and couldn't help noticing that your name came up on an Academi newsletter about a forthcoming event in Abertillery. I'm hoping to attend myself, and having not done a workshop before, was wondering if you could give me some info on what to expect. This is probably a cheeky thing to do, but like I say, I'm new to all this so please forgive any unintentional faux pas on my part. Thanks.
And here I was thinking that you wore a green suit with question marks all over it. :D But seriously, its time to get yourself a website, because your potential fans are crying out for da info.
