I'm going to cheat and include lots of books. I just can't narrow them down to five! And the order is random.

I think it must be lj, as I don't comment much elsewhere -- I'm la_marquise_de_ The only other place would be on various Hong Kong film newsgroups, but I ahven't been very active on those for many years.
Best wishes,

Hi Satima - just to let you know, we're looking into making the badge smaller as you mentioned. it would be a shame if people couldn't put it on their other networks. I think we just need to tweak that little patch of html they give you to cut and paste... I'll get back to you on it asap! Good to see you have settled in & making connections already - that's what it's all about...
no problem. I didn't want to seem pushy but I thought...hey, that's what networking is about and if it can help a sistah writer or a sister editor out...then why not! If you can use it, good. Happy creativity! -C
My best friend is an Arab lady who is a Moslem Hindu Buddhist. A feminist too, but a feminist who is a minority and I think that's why we get along so well. Sad but true, that's what the cheif separating issue seems to be with feminists. White feminism versus feminists of color. Don't know a lot of WASP. I did, back in the day-- although I grew up in a Jewish-italian-hispanic neighborhood in Brooklyn. But have spent the past 21 years in my little hood which is made up of Arabs, Cambodians, Goans, Chinese, Africans, Caribbeanites, Latin Americans, Irish, Jews, Croatians. No WASP in sight. ::smile:: I need to reconnect. ::big grin:: So glad meeting you. -C
Everin uh? Uhm..... It's a nice name. I hate having to change my hero's name when I've grown all attached.
Am sure we will learn from each other. ::fingers crossedd:: It's tough-going at times -- Christian and agnostic, non-feminist and feminist, black and white-- but we like each other. We always manage to get over the rough spots. We're both pretty nice. -C
