April 4th - well, 5 lucky winners got the book, winging its way out, and all should have their copy by now. As some may know, I`ve been slaving away on the second HFire book, The Orphaned Worlds, yet last weekend was clobbered by a deathly bug, a lethal lurgy, which left me with sinuses like footballs, not to get too graphic. My entire head felt as if it had been taken over, which isnt far wrong since cold bugs try to rewrite the bodys DNA into its own. Anyway, the old immune system finally kicked in and I`m on the road to recovery. So when I get to Bradford, I`ll have to take it easy, like!

January 27 in the Age of Obama - New year, new president, new domicile. Yup, spent frantic days etc over the festering season prepping for a house move, and LO for it is done. Traumatic as usual. But now we face the promises/threats of 2009 from a new HQ. My new book, SEEDS OF EARTH, 1st volume of my splendiferous Humanitys Fire trilogy/sequence, is due out on March 5th, and I am currently hard at work on book2, THE ORPHANED WORLDS. Other publishing news is that I`ve had a story accepted by Postscripts, the excellent quarterly anth from PS Publishing, and that is due to see the light of day by winter 2009. I must say that I`m looking forward to finishing book2, not just because completion is a buzz, but because I have a few notions/ideas for film/TV scripts I want to nail down in proposal form and see if anyone likes them. After that (and mebbe getting into Fallout 3)(cos I am just a total gamehead), I will be launching myself into the 3rd HF book, THE ASCENDANT STARS, which should bring new meaning to the word cataclysmic!

Oct 21st - and the new news is that I now have a Youtube channel and an inaugural movie up and dazzling all comers...either that or getting some laughs. Anyhoo, to take a look point your mousies at
