A few of us from work decided to go on a road trip to Hay-on-Wye, what with us being bibliophiles. It was mainly a case of George Mann wanting to hunt down some Sexton Blakes, but we weren’t going to say no to thirty-odd bookstores in a pretty town.

All the year the flax-dam festered in the heart
Of the townland; green and heavy headed
Flax had rotted there, weighted down by huge sods.
Daily it sweltered in the punishing sun.
Bubbles gargled delicately, bluebottles
Wove a strong gauze of sound around the smell.
There were dragon-flies, spotted butterflies,
But best of all was the warm thick slobber
Of frogspawn that grew [...]

Most of the books I get in are from Gollancz but I think my editor has a contact at Tor. I’ll enquire! Maybe check with your agent if he's sent one over to dwscifi.com (Titan publishing) as well just in case.
Also, you have a book coming out? exciting! Good luck with that! Maybe I'll get a copy into review - if so I'll send you the link of the review once it's up!

The very cottage, Guys Cottage, In Port Quinn. Ah, happy memories. Must make of it a mission to be back there some day soonish.Hope I can get to some of the Sci Fi festival in London. On a panel with China M. eh? Might be worth going just to see you trying not to be tongue-tied!
