Phew! Thought I went off on one here and no one was going to talk to me - grin. Am loving how UF changed things - also how heroic fantasy has changed to become grittier and funnier. I cannot wait to read Best Serviced Cold. My ARC is on its way f...

I am a big urban fantasy fan - I am not particularly fond of vampires but I do like werewolves. Where I draw the line is the bizarre combos people have been coming up with to be different - half vampire, half werewolf. I mean, really!!?? Can you i...

Currently reading: The Devil's Kiss by Sarwat Chadda - a young adult urban fantasy - it's going to be good, people! Basically Buffy for the UK, but without the hang-ups on vamps. Instead the Angel of Death wants to tear her head off...nice!

I checked with Sheelagh today. She said your copy of Longfang should be with you within the next few days. Enjoy! :-)

Great! Hope you like it. My favourite of the series is Longfang, but I'm still working on Aurora and that has been a lot of fun to write as well. No doubt everyone will develop favourites for different reasons. The monsters are drooling over my shoulder grunting something that sounds like ' W'ite Wobson W'ite'!

Hey Liz,
Glad your friend Liked "The Crown Conspiracy". I know what you mean about those readers. My wife really wants a Kindle - but I still like my books in pen and paper.

Hey Liz,
I hope your holiday was a great one. How are things "across the pond"? I just thought I would check in to see how's your read of The Crown Conspiracy going? Dave finished and did a great review. Drop me a line if you get a chance.

Murder One, Robin McKinley, Random Thoughts and a Competition

Crossposted from here at My Favourite Books

It always amazes me how many people can fit into Murder One's Romance and Paranormal Romance section. And it is small, as can be witnessed by pictures from the MO website of previous events.

I arrived (fashionably) late (due to having to work till 6pm) for Robin McKinley's reading, talk and signing at Murder One last night. And after huggin… Continue
