Hi Lavie: I had a big grin on my face just now. My friend Nick Wood knows about you. He's the one I called "one of my best author friends from South Africa." Small world! Have a great week. -C
Thanks for friending me, Lavie. Always nice to be picked. My sis-in-law spent sometime in a kibbutz back in the day. So did my good friend, Yselle...who also has connections to South Africa. I had a priest from South Africa and one of my best author friends is from South Africa. Uphost: IF we were to play Jewish Geography as my friends call it, I bet we would realize we know the same people. Six degrees of separation and all that. ::smile:: I've got to read HebrewPunk one of these days. Have a great week! -C
Hi Lavie & Welcome to Wonderlands - be sure and post in the Forum as well about your books, if you would like - that way more people will see the information... Your books look fascinating & I'm definitely going to pick up 'Occupation of Angels' - I suspect some nice Pendragon Press chappie will happily sell me one at NewCon 4!
Welcome to Wonderlands, Lavie! Recognise some of your titles from Pendragon Press, hope Mr. Teague Esquire is in good health. I have An Occupation of Angels on my To-Read list!

About Me:
Lavie Tidhar writes weird fiction. He grew up on a kibbutz in Israel and can say "the dictatorship of the proletariat" without blinking. He also lived in South Africa, the UK, and the remote Banks islands of Vanuatu, in the South Pacific. He is the author of novella An Occupation of Angels (2005) and linked-story collection HebrewPunk (2007), as well as the forthcoming Cloud Permutations from PS Publishing and The Tel Aviv Dossier (with Nir Yaniv) from Chizine Publications. His short stories appeared in Sci Fiction, Salon Fantastique, The Del Rey Book of Science Fiction and Fantasy, Best New Fantasy 2, Horror: The Best of the Year 2007, and many others. He can speak fluent Bislama, a South Pacific pidgin English, cook crème brulee, and grow his own tomatoes.

Am I dreaming, or did you submit a couple of stories to the folks at Bloodlust.UK many moons ago?
Congratulations on the books! The covers are tempting, without even getting to the contents. :)
That Hebrew Punk book looks totally great! Welcome to Wonderlands. -C
