- About Me:
- I have been interested in science fiction since I was a little girl. My first memory was of watching Star Trek when I was 3, and I remember being enthralled with the story, The Wonderful Flight to the Mushroom Planet, in 4th grade, then with Star Wars when I was 14, and on and on with various science fiction movies and books. After I read The Foundation Trilogy, I didn't think SF could get any better, so I moseyed over to the mystery aisle and took a long hiatus from reading published SF. Later, I learned about the world of Star Trek RPGs (text-based), and became enmeshed in that. Then I stumbled across Neuromancer (20 years later), and decided to try my hand at writing SF. I applied to the Writing Popular Fiction master's program at Seton Hill University and was accepted. I received my degree in June 2007 with an SF thesis. I am still revising, and hope to one day have it published. I have one published poem that was nominated for a Rhysling award in 2007--Doomed.
