This sounds great. I loved the cover--they look like wicked-scary Sleestaks.

Everything happens in threes.....

Well, it's the New Year: All traces of The holiday season are packed away for another year, the children are back to school, I'm back to work a week now, though I'm not complaining: in such uncertain times I'm glad to have one.

But it's been an expensive start to 2009 - household appliance-wise that is. So here's the list (in multiples of three - almost) of all the things that have gone bust and need to be replaced over the past couple of weeks: the fridge died, the dishwasher got fed up cleani… Continue

And "The Estuary" makes four...

I've sold a novel entitled The Estuary to Permuted Press.
I'm truely delighted to have found such a fantastic home for this book and I'm really looking forward to working with them. So this brings the total number of my novels published/contracted to four: A World Torn Asunder and Descent into Chaos and the forthcoming Fallout in the Vampire Apocalypse series, published by Black Death Books.

Reviews of the second VA book are starting to come through and.....they're good!

I was absolutely delighted with the response from reviewers and readers about my debut novel, Vampire Apocalypse: A World Torn Asunder, when it came out two years ago. The second book in the series, Vampire Apocalypse: Descent into Chaos, is out several weeks now and reviews are starting to filter through.....and once again, I'm humbled.......

Here's some highlights:

Sweet Fights at Gamesfest ...

Just back from Gamefest in sunny Tring in the UK. We had stormtroopers keeping everyone in line though we really didn't need them. Mark Lucas and his creew did an excellent job of organising this event. There was gaming, Magic the Gathering, Games Workshop and an impressive lineup of authors, including me.

It was a great day with sweet fights between Frazer Lee and myself and Peter Mark May. I ate the ammunition and Frazer ran out of sweets.....Read more at my… Continue

Not deliberate, not getting back to you for months and months. It's just that I haven't been on Wonderlands in all that time. No excuse, only changes in the life.
You write of vampires. Me, too, only I have yet to be published or even to submit, which shows how new I am to this. Although I have been writing since 2006, and learning, I hope. I started out with fanfic, as ammonite7 and am scattered about online that way. Am also developing a web site? blog? can't decide which is better. Have finished a coming-of-age novel with sci fi background that I put away, and am presently working on a Civil War historical thing, which is one reason why I haven't been back here. Also have a number of short stories and flash fiction, vampiric, erotica, and other.

Love to be your friend. Hope to visit here more often.

Thank you for your invitation. As one of the several of us off in exceedingly sunny Northampton, I managed to procrastinate for a bit.

See you at Octocon.

Hi Derek,

thank you for adding me :-)

To behonest, I'm not a big vampire fan BUT my wife. I took a short look at your vampireapocalypse page and I must confess that your books aroused my interest.
anyway I will recomend your books to my wife.
