Hi there. How's fatherhood treating you? I did get your work and I did read it. Thought I'd sent you my crit, sorry! Any luck with getting published? I haven't been doing a lot of submitting lately - crisis of confidence I guess. Will e-mail you your work back. Laters!

Long day, bad head Sunday! Looking forward to reading your stories, will get back to you asap. Was worth going on Saturday - if only for the lunch eh?!
Cheers

Yeah, hoping for the same thing myself. It'll be interesting to see others writing in the same genre. Good news on the publishers being there, be nice to hear exactly what they're looking for.

No problem. www.duotrope.com/www.horrorworld.org/messageboards.html/www.ralan.com/ These are all pretty good starts. If you have a theme put it in as a keyword in duotrope and it will throw up a load of markets. It's worth spending some time browsing the sites as there are often competitions, anthologies and the like that you may have a story that fits one of them. I see you're going to the Academi thing on Saturday. Sounds interesting. Hoping to get there myself, might see you there.

I've been writing for some time now, though only recently started submitting. I've had one story accepted by All Hallow's, though I'm still waiting for it to appear. Also a piece of flash fiction accepted by EDF. I hope you have luck with your collection. Any ideas who you're going to submit it to? There's a really good website called DUOTROPE's DIGEST that give good info on markets if you're short of ideas.

There's no need as far as my session is concerned, but I believe that there is actually time factored in for submission of manusripts at the end of the day. If you want to sumbit to Steve or Chris though they'll be just as happy to talk to you about what you have, especially if you should buy one of their other books from them.

Pretty much the same really. Though at the moment I seem to be heading down the atmosphere route. Have you had any success yet? I think there's a resurgence in interest in horror at the moment, especially in teenage fiction, and I'm just hoping to catch the wave.

Hi David,

Noticed you were from my neck of the woods. Always nice to see that there's someone else around. What kind of horror do you write?

You'll be surprised. In South Wales alone there are Tim Lebbon, Gary Greenwood, Mike O'Driscoll, Rhys Hughes, Chris Poote, Brian Willis, Paul Lewis... The list goes on.
