Hi Cheryl - thanks for the mention on your website yesterday - a couple of new Members came over, so that's great! I feel duty bound to mention Stephen Hunt's "Hivemind" SF network which was set up on the back of SF Crowsnest - but see that 'Red Rocket Station' is another Ning - so hey, lots of opportunity for cross pollination there!
As to the Friend Request - we've had that happen a couple of times with Member requests, but just seems like a glitch in the system, - hopefully, they will re-send...
Things going very well with the DGLA - around 4,300 votes at the moment. Voting has slowed down as expected - but many people are actually taking their time and reading some of the Longlist before deciding - which is brilliant!
Hi, Cheryl. I was an avid reader of Emerald City when you were running it and was very disappointed when it shut down. I found your book reviews to be useful in helping me decide what to read next. I look forward to hearing about any future recommendations you may have.
Thanks Cheryl - well it seems to be building up today as if we've reached the top of the hill and are now snowballing down the other side! BTW, you are officially our 50th member (we're now on 54 - I can't quite keep up!)
It's really good of you to blog about it. I'm hoping it could become a valuable 'hub' of news and yummy genre goodness(!) so the more genre bods, the merrier!

Hope to see you at EasterCon?
