Wonderlands

I'm creating this discussion for all the Fantasy lover out there. Like myself, I'm sure that you have all read copious amounts of Fantasy over the years. So here is the deal, write your top five favourite Fantasy novel or series and also we can also help each other out finding new adventures to read, I know I'm always in need of help! LOL

My Fantasy favourites.

1) Malazan Book Of The Fallen, By Steven Erikson.
2) Legend, By David Gemmell.
3) The Black Flame, By Rob Makellar.
4) A Song Of Ice And Fire, By George RR Martin.
5) Prince Of Nothing, By R Scott Bakker.

Wow! I've got to say guys that finding five out of all the amazing Fantasy novels I've read was tough going. Anyway I hope everyone enjoys this discussion, I'm looking forward to reading your top five favourites. :)

I'm going to cheat and include lots of books. I just can't narrow them down to five! And the order is random.
A Song of Ice and Fire (GRRM)
Anything written by Juliet Marillier
Kushiel's Dart (et seq, although I don't think she's ever bettered the first one) (Jacqueline Carey)
The Left Hand of Darkness (Ursula K Le Guin)
The Crystal Cave (et seq) (Mary Stewart)
The First Law trilogy (Joe Abercrombie)
American Gods and Anansi Boys (Neil Gaiman. Also the one he wrote with Terry Pratchett - Good Omens)
The first five books in the Amber series (Roger Zelazny)
The Farseer books - both series (Robin Hobb)
And Glenda Larke's new one, The Last Stormlord. It looks as if it will be the start of a superb series.

That's well over 30 books, and sorry, I can't prune the list any further!

All great Works of fantasy, the only ones I've never read are Mary Stewart and Juliet Marillier. I've seen Juliet Marillier's works before and always wondered if they were worth reading, mainly because I like some action in my books and I've read that there isn't any in her books so I gave them a miss. Can you give me any info on her work, any help would be appreciated. :)
