Wonderlands

It seems daft to me that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is on the brink of being cancelled, no 3rd Season. Its fate (I know, the irony) still not known and to be decided this weekend by the Fox bean counter execs - if it hasn't already been. There are various campaigns going on all over the Net, petitions etc. Nice that Thomas Dekker (who plays the young John Connor posted a video on You Tube to say thank you to all the vans.

Bloody travesty that it is facing the chop along with some other Fox series. The last few episodes of the 3rd series have been excellent and unlike other franchises (Star Trek: Enteprise for one and the new Trek film by all accounts) it manages to remain true to the source and build upon it.

The b****ds cancelled it. They went with recommissioning the Whedon and J.J. Abrams' produced series even though they didn't get very good ratings or consistent audiences. Bums on seats beats content, with the bean counters.

"Terminator had a nice little run," explains Entertainment President Kevin Reilly. "We did see it trailing off a bit, and ultimately we made the bet on Dollhouse. That's it for Terminator. If we canceled Joss Whedon's show I would have got 110 million emails from his fans today."

B*****ds. I'm devastated. Two seaons in and the whole thing left hanging. I need a drink! :((
