Hi,
I'm Mihai Adascalitei, I'm a passionate reader and I run the blog Dark Wolf's Fantasy Reviews. I post reviews to my recent readings, interviews and some thoughts of mine.
I posted the review of Sarah Prineas' "The Magic Thief". A children book that I enjoyed quite a lot and reminded me of my childhood years, full of dreams of adventures :)
The next guest of my fantasy art posts is the Dutch artist, Jesse van Dijk. He shows a lot of talent and imagination, especially with his personal project, "Project Indigo".
I finished Mark Charan Newton's "Nights of Villjamur". Quite a hype around this title, but I believe it is deserved. I had a few issues with the novel, but on the general I liked it a lot. And I think that Mark Newton has done a solid job in building his fantasy series and captures my interest for his further works (and for the previous one too, "The Reef", which I just bought).
This week guest is Nicole Cardiff. Nicole is an American artist, named by ImagineFX Magazine a Rising Star. She made many book cover and interior illustrations, especially for fantasy books, and concept works and promotional illustrations as well.
This week my guest is a German artist with a great attraction for the fantasy theme, Bente Schlick. Her works are focused on the portraits, especially women portraits. One of her works is featured on this year cover of the artbook Expose.
I finished David Moody's "Hater". It is a very good novel and hooked pretty well. Also the scenario is so realistic that is quite scary to really think of it. And since the book is scheduled to be turned into a movie with Guillermo del Toro as producer and Juan Antonio Bayona as director I can wait to see how it will turn out.
I appreciate all the reviews you have done, they're so helpful to people like myself who are always looking for new and exciting reads. Also I think the site you have created is amazing, congratulations with it's success.
