So: my first novel (Living with Ghosts) is due from DAW books next March. Today they sent me a picture of the cover. It's by Christian McGrath, and I really love it.

Yes, I just found out yesterday that Members could only post pics that are hosted elsewhere on the web (putting in a URL) whereas I can copy them in off my desktop. I think that seems a bit strange and unwieldy for Members so I'll mention it to the Ning support people...

Ah, feel proud, I still toil away (been toiling 12 years now) to one day get a book into the fast stream. This looks wonderful, I too would feel well pleased with such a cover - and they spelt your name right as well - that's always a good sign

Kari - you're made, girl! This is an amazing cover - I love Mr. McGrath's work and am planning to buy the Dresden Calendar for next year which he's putting together.

Isn't it lovely? The first thing I did was to email Chris McGrath and thank him, because he has given me such a great pic. He's an amazing artist -- I love those Dresden covers too.
