- Jasper Fforde (Author of among other novels the Thursday series of comic detective fiction with a fantastic flavour)
- Brian Clemens (script writer of classic 60s and 70 series like the Avengers, The Champions and The New Avengers)
- Gail Z. Martin (author of the high fantasy series The Chronicles of The Necromancer)
